This morning we focused on lesson planning. We learned how to create our lessons by backward design. This means that a teacher should first choose the learning objective and standard. Next the teacher should choose the resources needed for the objective, materials, activities, and desired results of lesson, etc. We also learned how to use a new technology called Plicker to assess students. We also used a tool called Bubbl to create a mind map. I will use Bubble to access students prior knowledge Here is an example of one I am working on for a lesson called Electing The President. "I hope to use this as an introduction to the lesson".
After lunch we worked on our abstract art projects and leaned how to fuse glass. I really enjoyed learning the technology projects I can take back to use in my class. Looking forward to day 13.
